following the sun / seeds project

the project consists of creating five sculptures, one on each continent of the earth. the objective is to express HOPE using the metaphor of seeds.

the order of creating them follows the order of the rising of the sun over the continents. the symbols of hope will be erected in environments where hope is much needed.

first objective is accomplished! dedicated on august 12th, 2007, the sculpture illseed is welcoming visitors at the entrance of the north shore hospital, auckland, new zealand. a vigorous sculpture, 7m. high, that expresses hope and is set at the entrance of a hospital. a plaque with a message of encouragement will be placed nearby.
